Pink Color Swatches

Pink is red with the light let in, and the family reaches much further than its reputation suggests. At the pale end it is blush, shell and powder, colors that behave almost like warm neutrals. In the middle it is rose and coral, and at the saturated end it becomes magenta and fuchsia, which are among the loudest values in the library.

That range is why pink appears both in cosmetics and in technical branding, in wedding stationery and in warning labels. The swatches below are ordered from the lightest tint to the darkest shade, so the same hue can be judged across its full spread rather than sampled at one point. Every swatch carries a name, a hex code and RGB values, and links to a page showing its tints, shades and contrast against black and white.

What separates a pink that works from one that does not is almost always its saturation rather than its lightness. The list moves from the shell and blush tones that behave like a warm off-white, through the roses that read as a considered accent, into the magentas that are among the loudest values in the library. A palette usually takes one from the first group as a background and one from the second as an accent, and leaves the last group to a single small element.

Charcoal or deep navy to ground it, or a soft cream if the result should stay light.
