A balanced palette is one where no single color wins. The anchors are moderately dark, the light stop is a soft white rather than a glare, and the accents are saturated enough to be seen without pulling the eye away from everything else. This is the hardest pattern to judge by eye, because nothing in it is doing anything loud.
It is also the pattern that survives contact with real content, which is why it appears so often in publishing, product documentation and long-form interfaces. The palettes below lead with the highest Visual Intelligence Index scores and then the most-saved. Each opens onto its own page with all six colors, their roles, their contrast readings and the code needed to reuse them.
The test of a balanced palette is what happens when it is used at small scale. If the hierarchy still reads in a thumbnail, the values have been chosen with enough separation; if it collapses into an average tone, the mids are too close. Each palette page shows the six colors at full size with their contrast ratios, which is a more reliable way to judge that than the grid.
This hub holds fewer than 12 palettes, so it is not published as a hub view.
